Aurora Ohio 44202 WHO WE ARE Our practice • Good Nature Therapy Services is an innovative, nature-based therapy practice that values affirmative, client centered care, collaboration, accessibility and community support • Good Nature Therapy Services is therapist owned and based in the Northeast Ohio area • We value nature and work together with nature to provide high quality, comprehensive therapeutic services to clients • We serve children from birth-21 and therapists will have the opportunity to expand their specialties within the scope of practice Our clinic • We are moving into a brand new, innovative, purpose built indoor/outdoor clinic in Aurora, Ohio • Our indoor space is warm and welcoming with natural light and built with sustainable materials designed to flow into the outdoor space • Our outdoor space is an acre of a mix of covered space, quiet areas, sensory garden, accessible pathways and many opportunities for communication, big and small movements and nature connection for you and your clients Our team • We are expanding our occupational therapy services and adding Speech Language Pathology Services with the opening of our new clinic • We are expanding to a new space and are looking for a therapist that is: *Self sufficient *Innovative *Values collaboration and education *Interested in helping expand this unique practice through client connection and programming. *Excited to help develop group and social programming What Sets Good Nature Therapy Services apart: • Work with us to build your part-time or full time schedule • Opportunities for professional development and continuing education • Supportive and collaborative work environment • Nature based therapist training • Spend your work days in nature • Meaningful work impacting the lives of children and families Position Overview: We are seeking an occupational therapist who is passionate about nature, an affirmative, client centered approach to pediatric occupational therapy and is interested in helping grow a unique nature based therapy program. We are currently offering a W2, hourly position for at least 10-20 hours a week with an increase as caseload grows if candidate is open to more hours. This is a perfect opportunity for someone looking to join a practice at the onset and help grow their position to their interests. We are specifically looking for someone that has at least two days of afternoon/early evening (up to 6pm) availability. Responsibilities: • Conduct occupational therapy assessments to evaluate children's strengths and areas of need • Develop individualized treatment plans based on each child's unique needs and goals • Implement therapy sessions using a developmental, relationship-based approach to promote skill development and functional independence • Collaborate with families and other members of the therapy team to ensure a holistic and coordinated approach to care • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of therapy sessions and progress reports Qualifications: • Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program • Licensed or eligible for licensure as an Occupational Therapist in the state of Ohio • Minimum of 1 year of experience working as a Pediatric Occupational Therapist • Experience utilizing a developmental, relationship-based approach to therapy • Love of nature • Strong communication and interpersonal skills • Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team • Passion for working with children and families Benefits • Option for productivity-based bonuses to your comfort level • Flexible scheduling • Full time therapists (30+ hours) *PTO *Paid continuing education *Paid holidays HOW TO APPLY: If you are passionate about pediatric occupational therapy and believe in the power of a nature connection and a developmental, relationship-based approach, we encourage you to apply.
