OPEN POSITIONS

Nature-Based Occupational Therapist for Kids and Families We are seeking a passionate and experienced nature-based occupational therapist to join our team and work with children and families. As a nature-based occupational therapist, you will be responsible for using natural environments and outdoor activities to help children develop essential life skills and improve their overall well-being. Responsibilities: 1. Conduct assessments to identify children's physical, sensory, and emotional needs. 2. Develop and implement nature-based therapy plans to address children's individual needs and goals. 3. Lead outdoor therapy sessions and nature-based activities to promote sensory integration, motor skills development, and emotional regulation. 4. Collaborate with parents, caregivers, and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care and support for children. 5. Educate families on the benefits of nature-based therapy and provide resources for incorporating nature-based activities into their daily routines. 6. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of children's progress and treatment plans. Requirements: 1. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy. 2. Valid state licensure as an occupational therapist. 3. Previous experience working with children and families in a nature-based or outdoor therapy setting. 4. Strong knowledge of sensory integration principles and techniques. 5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. 6. Passion for nature and the outdoors, with a commitment to promoting the benefits of nature-based therapy.
