Speech Language Pathology & Occupational Therapy for Children in Northeast Ohio

WE PROVIDE A SAFE AND SUPPORTIVE ENVIRONMENT THAT ENCOURAGES THE GROWTH AND DEVELOPMENT OF CHILDREN AND FAMILIES

What We Do
Boy playing in woods

Good Nature Therapy Services offers pediatric Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) and Occupational Therapy (OT) for children from birth to age 21. We are located in Aurora, Ohio, and serve the greater Cleveland area. Our mission is to make therapy accessible to all families, providing a unique and effective experience that incorporates the healing power of both indoor and outdoor environments. We are dedicated to helping children overcome developmental challenges while actively supporting parents and guardians.

Every child should have the chance to explore, grow, and experience the world around them.

Whether indoors or outdoors, we provide opportunities for children to engage in activities like hiking, climbing, splashing in water, and sensory-rich play—all designed to promote physical and emotional growth in a safe and nurturing setting. At Good Nature Therapy Services, we are committed to providing an environment where children can learn, grow, and thrive.

HI, I'M REBECCA!

Occupational Therapist (MOT, OTR/L), Owner, Founder

I want all children to experience the joy of being themselves and spending time outdoors.

As a seasoned pediatric occupational therapist, I love outdoor sessions because nature brings out the best in kids. Through a combination of parent support and play-based outdoor sessions, I’m dedicated to helping kids build the social, emotional, and physical skills for everyday life at home and school. With a mission to share the therapeutic benefits of nature with more families in NE Ohio, I designed a therapy center with an accessible outdoor play garden where my team of therapy providers help kids play their way to progress.

Lighten the Load

Life can be overwhelming, no matter how old you are. Nature lightens the load and provides a sense of calm, balance, and fun. We teach families how to connect with nature to find peace in their busy lives.

How We Do It & Why

GOOD NATURE THERAPY APPROACH

We provide affirming, play-based therapy built around goals that support the child.

Our interventions are drvien by a desire for 3 things:

Affirming Care

Orange Leaf-01.png

Come as you are and feel accepted! We put the ideas of affirming care into action. That means your child is accepted as an amazing person, period - end of sentence. With that core belief in mind, let's face challenges head-on by exploring ways of doing things differently or adding the right support so your child can be successful as their true selves.

HOW GOOD NATURE THERAPY SERVICES CAN HELP

At Good Nature Therapy Services, our approach is rooted in practical, down-to-earth solutions that bring out the best in kids while supporting families. We believe in a strength-based approach to therapy, ensuring that we support not only your child but also you, the parents and guardians, every step of the way.

By blending the benefits of indoor therapy (with spaces for climbing, hammocks, and plenty of movement) and the therapeutic advantages of outdoor exploration, we help children develop the fine and gross motor skills, social skills, self-confidence, and participation necessary for thriving at home, school, and beyond.
