Outdoor Therapy for Children in Northeast Ohio
WE PROVIDE A SAFE AND SUPPORTIVE ENVIRONMENT THAT ENCOURAGES THE GROWTH AND DEVELOPMENT OF CHILDREN AND FAMILIES IN NATURE.
Good Nature Therapy Services is an outdoor pediatric therapy practice based in Aurora, Ohio, that serves the greater Cleveland area. Our mission is to make outdoor experiences accessible to ALL families and provide children with a unique and effective therapy experience that incorporates the healing power of nature. We are dedicated to helping children ages 2-14 overcome developmental challenges that stop them from reaching their full potential while actively supporting parents and guardians.
From hiking through lush forests to splashing in a creek, digging in the dirt, and walking with bare feet in the grass to planting something and watching it grow, there are countless opportunities to experience the beauty and diversity of the natural world. Good Nature Therapy Services is committed to providing a safe and nurturing environment where kids can learn, grow, and thrive.
Good Nature Therapy Services Team
HI, I'M REBECCA!
Occupational Therapist (MOT, OTR/L), Owner, Founder
I want all children to experience the joy of being themselves and spending time outdoors.
As a seasoned pediatric occupational therapist, I love outdoor sessions because nature brings out the best in kids. Through a combination of parent support and play-based outdoor sessions, I’m dedicated to helping kids build the social, emotional, and physical skills for everyday life at home and school. With a mission to share the therapeutic benefits of nature with more families in NE Ohio, I designed a therapy center with an accessible outdoor play garden where my team of therapy providers help kids play their way to progress.
HI, I'M JULIE!
Office Administrator
Julie Seitz is the Office Administrator at Good Nature Therapy Services. Julie has a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Caldwell University in Caldwell, NJ, and an Associate’s degree in Paralegal studies from Macomb Community College in Macomb, MI.
Julie is also a certified adult and children’s yoga instructor, a Reiki master, and has a certification in Mindfulness. Her two favorite meditations are the Body Scan and the Loving Kindness meditation.
Julie’s favorite thing to do in nature is camping! She loves hiking with her dogs and going out on the water with paddleboards and kayaks. In addition to camping and being in nature, Julie loves to read, do macrame, paint, make jewelry, garden, and take care of her indoor plants (she is over 30!). Julie has an amazing husband, Werner, and two great kids, Hannah (20) and Joseph (18), who will both be in college this fall.
For Juile, working at Good Nature Therapy Services feels like she has found her home away from home. She feels that being able to support such a wonderful organization that is 100% invested in the growth and development of children and their families is a blessing.

How We Do It & Why
GOOD NATURE THERAPY APPROACH
We provide affirming, play-based therapy built around goals that support the child.
Our interventions are drvien by a desire for 3 things:
Affirming Care
Come as you are and feel accepted! We put the ideas of affirming care into action. That means your child is accepted as an amazing person, period - end of sentence. With that core belief in mind, let's face challenges head-on by exploring ways of doing things differently or adding the right support so your child can be successful as their true selves.
