A Summer of Adventure, Connection, and Growth at Good Nature Therapy Services
This summer, Good Nature Therapy Services was filled with curiosity, movement, laughter, and plenty of time spent outdoors! We were thrilled to launch summer camps such as Backyard Biologists for 4-6 year olds, Mindful Movers for 6-10 year olds, and Adventure Skills for 8-13 year olds, which all provided the opportunity to explore nature, try new activities, build friendships, and develop confidence in a supportive and engaging environment.
Across our different camps, campers had opportunities to learn through hands-on experiences while building skills related to movement, social connection, emotional regulation, independence, problem-solving, and more. Many popsicles were eaten, new friends were made, resilience was practiced, and lessons were learned, all while having fun in our beautiful outdoor and indoor space.

Backyard Biologists
Our youngest campers became curious explorers during Backyard Biologists, where our campers spent time discovering the natural world through hands-on exploration.
From investigating plants and insects to learning about animals, habitats, seeds, and the water cycle, campers practiced observation and curiosity while experiencing the joy of discovering.
Our campers had a full week of being curios, getting messy, investigating, and learning through play.

Mindful Movers
Mindful Movers brought together movement, nature, and mindfulness for our campers.
Campers participated in activities such as climbing, sliding, yoga, gardening, a Mindful Movers Regatta with boats built from recycled materials, and lots of outdoor play. These experiences encouraged our campers to explore how their bodies move, practice awareness, and develop strategies for regulation and connection.
Most importantly, campers had opportunities to move, laugh, challenge themselves, and connect with their peers in a supportive environment.

Adventure Skills Camp
Our older campers, took on new challenges during Adventure Skills Camp.
Campers practiced practical outdoor skills including compass use, camouflage, hiking, first aid, shelter building, cloud identification, and nature journaling. These activities encouraged teamwork, problem-solving, independence, and confidence.
Each new skill offered an opportunity to try something unfamiliar and work together as a team.
While each camp had its own focus, they all shared a common goal: meaningful opportunities to explore, connect, and grow.
We are so proud of and grateful to all of the campers and families who joined us for our summer camps this year. Thank you for helping make our summer a season full of adventure, discovery, friendship, and learning!
We are already excitedly planning for next year! Please give us a follow on Facebook or Instagram, or subscribe to our newsletter for the most up-to-date information on summer camps. We can't wait to see everyone again soon!
